Highly recommended This was my first time here, based on recommendations. It started with a tasty greeting from the kitchen ... Well worth a visit. I really liked this modern, yet cozy dining room. Service is excellent, nice, friendly. The dishes were delicious, lovingly garnished, and delicious. The portions are sufficient - there is still room for a dessert. The beautifully lit stone terrace is definitely even more beautiful in summer than it is now.

Was a very nice vacation there! Very large breakfast buffet is offered there. In the evening you can eat very warm there. The rooms are very nice and modern. Was very nice there and can only be recommended!

We only visited the restaurant and this is really, really good. The onion roast is highly recommended. We would eat there again anytime we are in the area.

Are here often to eat, the food is perfect in terms of taste and craftsmanship. The staff is always friendly and attentive. We didn't stay here, so I can't rate the suggested hotel review points. A reservation is recommended, especially on weekends. Particularly noteworthy is the children's menu which the children can color in, pens are provided, and a high chair is no problem and there are enough of them.

At the moment, access to the city center is only possible to a limited extent. Construction site. Excellent roast lamb with herbs. Regional and seasonal cuisine. Friendly service.

Nice hotel with great kitchen. Very nice staff. Noticed negatively, you are not allowed to arrive on Tuesday. The reception is not manned and you are ordered to go upstairs by phone ... Finding the entrance on the side is a game of chance. Still four stars .... great kitchen, nice staff and nice clean rooms

Nice, well-kept hotel, no private parking spaces, large public parking lot but only a few hundred meters away, breakfast good and the food in the restaurant was good too. Is recommended

The best Schäufele I have eaten in an inn so far. Respect 👍🏻 Staff very, very friendly and on the ball. (The dumplings could be a tad bigger, but it's not worth a star less 😊)

Good, interestingly designed hotel. The restaurant was first class. Can recommend the Rehburger. A special experience on the palate. Unfortunately, the intense cigarette smoke that came from the terrace bothered us a bit at dinner. Breakfast was great too.

A simple hotel with really nice rooms made of natural furniture in a quiet location. The staff is friendly and courteous. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Lunch and dinner can also be enjoyed in the restaurant with a sun terrace.

Unique! Great ambience, very tasteful both on the sun terrace and inside. We were there with our two small children: a magical children's menu with hands-on activities and a cup of pens came straight to the table. The food for the kids came super fast! The menu is a wonderful mix, regional, seasonal, stimulating. We had beef cheeks and rack of lamb after a fine soup. First class, every bite new! The service was quick and very friendly. It is good to be here. But you don't need to build a hut. The kitchen is an insider tip. The quality is only here every 30 km. it's Mediterranean on the terrace. The staff was very accommodating. Thank you!

We were here in a relatively large group (13 people) for lunch while canoeing and were very, very satisfied. Despite our canoe outfit, we were warmly welcomed, served in a friendly manner and the food also tasted great. Highly recommended!

Clean reconstucted nice room, delicious food, great location. Durring my stay there was little noizy reconstruction outside a hotel, but nothing critical. Free parking place 2 min by foot far from the hotel. Historical building with a modern interier as well.

Rarely does the perfect combination of location, good ambience, great service, and excellent food come all together for a Restaurant, but at Zur Sonne Pappenheim it is perfection. When you enter you are greeted by Lovely team of staff and they are as warm as the interior which has a wonderful mix of wooden floors and brick walls, and a open log fire it's really quite lovely. The tables are a good size and the seating comfortable, and the art on the walls, all mostly representative of the area and nature, are as gorgeous as she is. Out side there’s a modern and huge terrace area with Lovely gardens and water feature. Perfect for those lovely summer evenings But what really is just marvelous is the menu and the tantalizing taste sensations of the meals. Behind this menu has been allot of years of experience a passionate and brilliant Chef, that have created some of the very best food I have had the pleasure to eat. Modern Bavarian treats encompassing the taste of Bavarian and German foods utilizing the the freshest products from the markets to bring together the delights I enjoyed. There is a very good mix for Vegetarians and the meat eater and very pleasant combinations. Hauxen, schnitzel, meats and sausages with a great selection-of wines and beers. Excellent service.
